REVIEW: Wet N Wild I ♥ Matte Palette
This palette features 8 matte eyeshadows for only $4.99! The packaging is the same as their other 8-pan Color Icon palettes. Each color is very nicely pigmented. They also blend very nicely. These swatches were taken with Urban Decay Primer Potion underneath, and they last for a long time. The white is not chalky at all, great to use as a base. The black is great for smokey eyes, in the outer V, or can even be used as liner.
For only $5, you get a great selection of colors with great color pay off! I would recommend this for all of you guys! Matte eyeshadows are essential in a girl’s collection.
REVIEW: Benefit Feelin’ Cheeky! Minis
This set of travel sized Benefit products is sold exclusively at Sephora for $15. This is a limited edition product, so I’m not sure when they’ll stop selling it! The full-sized versions of Benetint and Posietint are sold for $29 each, while High Beam is $26. You’re getting a real value when you buy this trio, and these last for quite a while! A little bit goes a long way!
First off, this trio is very convenient, no brushes required, just your fingers to blend in the product! It blends in very smoothly into the skin and gives your face a nice flush of color. Posietint is a bubblegum pink blush, and Benetint is a red blush, that can also be used as a lipstain. As a lipstain, Benetint works very well, and is long lasting.
These two blushes are very natural looking, and is useful for everyday or for school. Not much effort is needed to apply, and it’s great for on the go! I would definitely recommend these two blushes for those of you who are starting to wear blushes, and don’t want it to be too noticeable, but just enough to give your face a nice pop of color.
Highbeam, is a pinky liquid highlighter, it’s perfect if you want a dewy finish to your face, and a little bit of a lift to your cheekbones. It brightens up your face, and the light hits it perfectly. This is my favorite highlighter, and it blends perfectly into your skin!
To apply, you simply just use the brushes that are in the cap, kind of like a nail polish bottle, and dot the product on the apple of your cheeks upwards, then simply blend it in! For the highlighter, put it on the temples and down to the highest point of your cheekbones, and again blend it in! (:
Overall, this trio is great, and I would say to get it before it runs out! (: If you have anymore questions about this product, shoot me a question in my ask box! :D
REVIEW: Revlon PhotoReady Concealer
I’m excited to do this review, because I’ve found an amazing concealer at the drugstore! :D Usually, I use my Boi-ing Concealer by Benefit for my undereyes, but nowadays, I gravitate towards this one. I have the PhotoReady Concealer in the shade Light Medium. This concealer is a stick concealer, but it glides on so smoothly. It applies great too, and the best part is is that it does not cake up. It does not have a weird yellow/orange tint. It stays on all day, if you set it with powder, and overall, it’s just a great concealer. I use this mainly under my eyes, around my nose, and on blemishes. I definitely recommend this to you guys, so check it out if you’re looking for a new concealer! (:
REVIEW: mark. Scandalash Mascara Hook-Up
Before I start this review, I just wanted to say that this product was sent to me by one of my followers. (This does not effect my opinion on these products, I only share what you guys my honest opinion.) She’s a representative of mark. and sells mark. online, if you’d like to purchase anything from mark. you can visit her eBoutique by clicking here. Her shipping was so fast, and she’s a total sweetheart! It’s worth a look around her store, and mark. sells great products! (: They also sell skincare products, fragrances, hair styling products, and clothing and accessories!
I love the whole concept of these hook-ups, you can mix and match different products together by using a hookup, making it perfect for on-the-go or travel. I absolutely love this mascara. It has a drier formula, and does not clump at all. It add great volume to my lases, while separating and lengthening them. And the best part is that it holds a curl very well! Usually, my eyelashes will not hold a curl throughout the whole day, but I found that with this mascara, my lashes stayed curled the whole day! This mascara sells for $6, and I think it’s a reasonable price for what you get, and you’re helping a working woman out. (: I recommend this mascara, and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorites!
REVIEW: Benefit Boi-ing Concealer in Medium (02)
I’ve heard so much about this concealer, so I knew I had to try this out for myself! This sells for $18, but I got this off of Ebay, for only $8.25, it is authentic, and I got it shipped to me pretty fast! I love the cute pink box it comes in, but I do find that the round shape of the packaging makes it hard to open while I’m doing my makeup. The container is round, so my hands tend to slip when I try to open it after putting on my primer. Also, the only other problem with this concealer is that it only comes in three shades, light, medium, and dark, which will make it harder for people who fall in the middle of the shades to use.
The things I do like about this concealer is that it’s great for under eyes! It does not cake up on my face at all. It’s pretty long-lasting, I wear it during school, and it still looks good at the end of the day! (: Also, it doesn’t have an ugly orange tint when you put it on, so that’s definitely a plus! I definitely recommend this concealer to you guys, just make sure that it matches your skin tone! <3
REVIEW: Hard Candy Fox in A Box in Smooth Talker
I saw someone do a review on LUUUX on this product in the color Hot Flash (red blush quad) and I immediately knew that I needed to try it for myself! I went to Walmart that weekend, and luckily, it had all of hte new Hardy Candy products in stock! I also grabbed the Sheer Envy Skin Perfecting Primer, which I will review soon!
These new blush quads and duos have the same box packaging as Benefit’s boxed blushes, but it is no where as sturdy as them! The packaging is also misleading, because the pan of it is not as deep as the box goes, it’s actually very small. There is 5.7 g in it, or .2 oz. But, you cannot complain for the quality of the packaging, because they’re only $6! The quad I have is the coral one of the three quads. I absolutely am in love with the flush it gives on my cheeks! This one looks very natural on my face, and I definitely recommend this. For only $6, this product is a great buy with great quality!
Here’s the swatches of the Blue Had Me At Hello palette, just in case you guys are interested! The only one I’m not impressed with is the frosty white color (last one on the top row of swatches), but the frosty turquoise color is freaking amazing! I’m going to start wearing more blues on my eyes because of these! :P
I couldn’t resist but have all three of the palettes from the Wet N Wild 8-Pan Color Icon collection! This one is called Blue Had Me At Hello, and these colors are all absolutely gorgeous! It comes with a matte black and also a black with blue and silver flecks in it. I got this one at Walmart for only $4.68 compared to $4.99 at Walgreens. I honestly think that these palettes are worth your money! Definitely check these out guys! :D
You guessed it, I just had to get the Wet N Wild 8-Pan Color Icon Palette in Petal Pusher. These colors are freaking gorgeous! <3
Review: Wet N Wild 8-Pan Color Icon Palette
I went to Walgreens today and I flipped when I saw that they had the Wet N Wild palette that I wanted! Wet N Wild came out with 3 new 8-shadow palettes, and this one is called Comfort Zone and it’s the neutral palette. There’s another one with pinks and purples, and another with silvers and blues. And the best part is that they’re only $5! They have great pigmentation and the colors are absolutely gorgeous! I definitely recommend these to you guys! (: The only downside is this particular palette does not have any matte shadows, but the other two do come with a few, so definitely check those out!
Review: L’Oreal Voluminous Mistake-Proof Eyeliner
This is the worst eyeliner I’ve ever bought. I got it because it was on sale for $5, and I love the Volumnious Mascara, so I thought this was going to be good too. I was wrong! The tip is way too big, and the formula of the eyeliner is really bad. Pigmentation is not good either, I applied more than three layers, and it still wasn’t as black as I wanted it to be. Bottom line, don’t buy, it’s not worth the money! :P
NYX Eyeshadow Base Review
I just tried out the NYX Eyeshadow Base in Skintone yesterday, and it surprisingly works very well! I had it on for about 9 hours, and my eyeshadow did not crease! Another plus is that it also has a little bit of coverage to cover up the veins on your eyelid, which is awesome! The downside is that this primer will not work for every skin tone, it does not completely blend into your skin, so it might not work with people with darker skin. It’s also available in White and Pearl, but I’ve never used that I wouldn’t know how it works.
It’s sells for $6.99 and it’s totally worth it if you’re looking for an inexpensive primer! I would totally recommend this to anyone! (:
